Project Overview.
In reality, it’s difficult for artists to survive by doing only the work they truly want to do.
Some pursue their passion regardless, but most turn to commercial work out of necessity.
Artists don’t choose this path to starve—or to become puppets of clients.

Creativity lives in everyone.
Expression, however, is a privilege.

I believe this paradox is a dilemma many artists face—not just me.
Mood Board.

Some artists view commercial work through a rigid, black-and-white lens.
This film adopts that same palette—both as a reflection and a critique of that mindset.

Brainstroming.

To visualize ‘paradox,’ three core keywords were identified through a brainstorming.
Around them, symbolic objects were arranged—each reflecting the theme in subtle, indirect ways.

#1 Dilemma Zone
A mental space where anxiety takes root—barren like a desert, drained of creativity by constant artistic dilemmas.
#2 The Horns of Dilemma
A symbolic entity born from relentless inner conflict.
It grows silently—yet inevitably—within.
Its horns take the shape of an inverted pyramid, immense and looming.

#3 Black & White Logic
A critique of the binary mindset that sees true art and commercial work as mutually exclusive—ignoring the complexity in between.
Storyboard.

In the early stages, I envisioned a multitude of scenes—some poetic, others technical.
But as the work evolved, I stripped away anything that felt overly literal or constructed.
What remained was the essence.

The world takes place across three symbolic spaces:
a desert of dilemma—cracked and vast, where thought withers under the weight of uncertainty;
an inner chamber ruled by paradox, where logic loops endlessly within itself;
and finally, a space of realization—silent and expansive—where a greater paradox emerges, not as resolution, but as continuation.

The Horns of Dilemma were envisioned as towering, pyramid-like forms—symbols of unresolved tension, always present, always growing.
